Gen-Connect had a successful event at Sunrise of Richmond Hill Retirement home!
This event captured the true power of how Gen-Connect can meaningfully connect generations through entertainment. With beautiful performances ranging from singing, to cello, the residents experienced an exciting afternoon.

Russell. B preforms a emotional rendition of Fast Car, by Tracy Chapman.
A commonality throughout all the performances was the positive feedback we were receiving from the residents and workers. For instance, one of the workers complemented our initiative calling it: "Gods work".

Here, you can see Yasamin. Y serenade the audience with Somewhere Only We Know, by Keane.

ree
Cameran. F (piano) and Elliot. F (cello), playing a unique performance of Canon in D, by Johann Pachelbel.

From what I saw in this event, the overall energy given by the crowd was ecstatic. Most residents gave their own input, on how the event was beautiful. These genuine and wise comments is what Gen-Connect strives for.

Anika. E performed an empowering performance of Adele's Easy on Me.

ree
Amelia. A and Lucas. A sing an adorable rendition of Butterfly and Mockingbird.
All in All, a huge thanks to all of the performers and Sunrise of Richmond Hill.
