Event - September 28th, 2024

What another extraordinary event, this time held at Delmanor Elgin Mills! On the 28th of September, Gen-Connect featured many new performers from a nearby music school, including the return of some familiar faces. The event was comprised of stunning musicians and performances, spanning from singing and playing the guitar to the piano, as well as a violin solo. Throughout the event, many audience members were tapping and nodding to the beat as the young musicians performed stunning covers and eloquently expressed a wide range of emotions. A few memorable performances on the piano include a waltz, a cover of "Fly Me To The Moon" by Frank Sinatra and "A Million Dreams" from "The Greatest Showman." Additionally, "My Favourite Things" from "The Sound of Music" was sung and accompanied by the guitar, while medleys were performed on the violin and by singing. This event was truly one for books and the Gen-Connect team can't wait to host many more in the future!
